Thank you. We had fun. My son is an excellent cook and the fish was divine. We played dominoes late into the night. I'm exhausted today but it was worth it.
Somehow dominoes seem to go with fish; don't ask me how, because I couldn't explain it to save my soul. :) For example I never thought I'd ever touch anything called a "fish taco," but there's a small chain of Tex-Mex fusion places called Willy Taco where we're at that has a whole slew of really good combinations, one of which is a "fish & chips" taco that I actually like. I almost feel like I've been co-opted, but .. I like it. Also a blackened Mahi mahi one. They're not just fish either, but a bunch of other good stuff.
How that relates to dominoes & your fish, like I say, I honestly can't say. It's at least pleasant & comfortable, like the good side of your split-screen. I wish you could have the warm fuzzy we get from it to help when the cards go sour. It ain't White Castle, but it's comfort food for sure. I *will* say that I didn't get any schadenfreude at all, of any kind, from Donaldo's bummed-out birthday, because TBH I don't feel guilty about it, at all, not even a little. He's a raving egomaniac & deserves every bit of misery that rolls his way. My only concern is what he'll do next in vengeance. :\
